A nursing home which help the homeless old folks

Persatuan Kebajikan Prihatin Kuan Yin has moved to Taman Bukit Kempas in year 2006 and before that it was located in Taman Bukit Mewah. There are 82 old folks in this home which include 40 male and 42 female with 6 workers who take care of their daily life. Some of the old folks have their own family while most of them have lost contact with the families.

There is a large empty space in the front of the home which allows the old folks to do activity such as walking, planting and exercising. 

Old folks will do their activity such as having their tea time, watching television and singing in this long corridor. They will also chit chat with each other as a friend to spend their time. Due to the huge number of old folks staying in this home, the monthly expenditure is around RM 40,000 which include the medical cost, water and electricity bill. This home accepts the help from public in the form of donation of fund and daily product such as egg, soy sauce, milo, coffee and more. They wish to have volunteer to accompany the old folks to play Chinese chess and sing together in order to make them happy.
