A well organised old folks home filled with love and joy ❤️

Pandan Old Folks Home is a retirement home for those unmarried and homeless elderly who stay alone. It is a non-profit organisation, relying solely on the donation and help from the public. It is a well organised home, they have their own committee members and the chairman of the homes will change every few years to ensure integrity. The person in charge, at the age of 68 years old, is taking care of the old folks home which consists of 18 elderly people with another colleagues. They only take in elderly people who are able to take care of themselves because they do not have enough manpower. The maximum number they can have is up to 20 elderly people.

Their monthly expense is around RM 8000. As you can see, their expenses is less than other old folks home is because they used them wisely and with plans. They uphold to the quote of "One for all, all for one". Therefore, they will donate the remaining money to Pandan primary school and Foon Yew high school during the end of the year as these can help those impoverished students.

Since those elderly people have nobody to rely on, the committee members will help to arrange funeral for the deceased, to accompany them in their final journey...
