Pertubuhan Kebajikan Shan De Johor Bahru, Johor was established in 11th October 2011 as a non-profit orphanage. There are 45 children in between the range of 3 to 18 years old. They receive all kind of help from the public such as the donation of fund and daily product and the volunteer to teach the children. They wish to have volunteer to teach the children and cut their hair for them. The monthly expenditure of this orphanage is around RM 50,000.


The main objective is to help the community to take care of those helpless and unfortunate children. They accept the children from all races regardless of their religious and beliefs. Their goal is to provide the children a comfortable accommodation, healthy diet and a good long run education so that the children will be independent and can have a brighter future.

Every child is born to be loved and care for. However, some less fortunate lost their privileges at tender age. Because of love and passion, the founder – Ms Sia Po Huay and her friends put in their time, strength and mind to set up an orphanage here called Shan De.

Beside provide a shelter to the unfortunate children, they have specially focus on the children education. They know how important the education is to every child in this community. They hope that the children will be living ethical healthy, useful and fulfilling lives with strong sense of personal accountability and civic responsibility.
